Chris Dunnington, Founder of HungryWolf®
I studied A-Level Computing and Business Computing at university, but the internet as we know it didn’t exist yet. So, when it came to web design and SEO, I learned it the hard way, by needing a website myself.
I’ve always loved working with my hands. Gardening, landscaping, decorating, general DIY. I’ve renovated four homes over the years, and I set up a grounds maintenance company in 2004 because I genuinely loved being outdoors. I’ve worked in all weathers, managed staff, and kept the jobs flowing in. I understand hard work, and I understand what it takes to run a trades business because I’ve done it myself.
That grounds maintenance company needed a website. So, I built one. Then I optimised it. Then I got obsessed with SEO. Over twenty years later, that obsession became HungryWolf®.
I’ve been self-employed for over two decades. I know what it feels like to wake up worrying about where the next job is coming from. I’ve had staff relying on me to keep the work flowing in. That pressure never leaves you, and it shapes everything I do for my clients today.
